Out of space

If it was driving you nuts that links on this blog always had space before and after, so they looked like " this “, there’s good news. It was driving me nuts too. I thought it was a bug in Hugo and I filed a bug report, but was told Hugo doesn’t do that and maybe it was my theme. So I filed a bug report with Gokarna, but then discovered the problem didn’t occur on a new (test) website with the Gokarna theme — only on this site. I dug deeper and discovered it was a faulty layout file. I fixed it and now the links look like “this”.

I could have fixed this months ago if I’d taken the time to look into it. Oh well.
