Not a very good couple of weeks. There was one rain-out last week and three this week. I’d wanted to go on a bike ride last week but found the air had deserted one of the tires.
So I’m not getting there fast. At the moment I’m south of Tucson, heading roughly east on a road that does have Street View imagery — but there’s not much to see in it. Google Maps says I just went past Desert Swarm Bee Removal. Up ahead is Sahuarita, with the Titan Missile Museum in a former missile silo, but I’ll be passing south of that. Given better weather and a better inner tube I might finish this leg in a week.
A map showing my progress is here, a spreadsheet with progress detail is here, and a Google Earth KMZ file is in this Google Drive folder. Present coordinates: 31.894°N, 111.174°W.
